Reiki changed my life in deep and insightful ways.
When I first heard about it, I was curious but very skeptical. After my first session, I was all in! Reiki is a Japanese word meaning “universal life energy.” The practitioner is the channel for this beautiful energy. Reiki is a holistic healing method that helps the body’s own natural healing ability through energy flow balancing.
Here are 8 reasons why I love Reiki:
I feel an intense sense of relaxation, calm and peace.
-I feel safe, not just with the Practitioner, but with the energy.
-I am not asleep but in a calm surrender, like being wrapped in a cozy blanket.
-I realized that I am worthy of prioritizing myself.
Each session feels different, but always a deep relaxation.
-I often experience vivid colors, images, and tingly sensations.
-It feels like a deep rest.
It helped with stress management and relieved my pain.
-It has been the perfect upgrade for my physical and emotional healing.
-It complements my natural lifestyle and has helped me trust my body.
-I was experiencing severe shoulder pain with no physical conditions. My pain
released with continued practice and now I have zero pain.
It reduced the mental noise and my sleep improved.
-I trust my path and the Reiki energy; it has calmed the mind chatter.
-I did not have the noise in my mind during sessions. I strive to return to that
level of calm. I was more relaxed and, in turn, it helped my sleep.
My clarity and acceptance of life’s experiences improved.
-The peacefulness I gained helped me trust that everything will work out.
I feel lighter and release the heaviness of the world.
-It takes me into the present moment, the now. I cannot control everything. I can
control my reactions.
Reiki is flexible based on my needs.
-A Reiki Practitioner can schedule you for different lengths of time.
-You can schedule on a regular basis or as needed.
-Learning Reiki allowed me to give Reiki to myself. Both are valuable. Self-Reiki
works anywhere and anytime. Working with a Practitioner puts you in a
receiving mode and there is power in that.
Reiki is not a religion but I feel more connected to Source, God, Universe.
-Understanding the flow of energy is similar to understanding how radio waves
put out different frequencies and how you must tune into the right station to
hear the music. A Reiki Practitioner tunes you into yourself.
-I learned to trust in the unseen on a deeper level. There is more to this world
than what I can physically sense.
Reiki continues to improve my life in many ways and I am very grateful. I believe everyone can benefit from Reiki!
